HORSEBACK RIDING VACATIONS FOR CHILDREN

Jackson Hole, Wyoming is a perfect place for children to experience the thrill of riding a horse. Our horses are highly trained and interact well with children, allowing your child to improve their skills and appreciate the wonder of their environment. We can accommodate groups of up to 8 children, but do have a minimum age requirement of 8 years old. Most of our children’s rides are at a slower pace and stay on the shorter loop closer to camp. Experienced child riders can join on longer rides if they desire. All children must be supervised by an adult and adhere to our safety guidelines.

WYOMING HORSEBACK RIDING VACATIONS

HORSE PACK TRIPS YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK

A pack trip is an entirely unique experience that many seasoned equestrians often enjoy. The Glamping on the Greys team will teach you what to bring on a trip, then help you prepare and load a pack saddle. Then you and your horse will set out on a long form journey across the trails. The trip will leave you with a new appreciation for the way that many of our ancestors traveled. Plus, Wyoming is a gigantic untouched haven for wild creatures to thrive. It is home to over 200 different species of animals, 300 different species of birds, and numerous amphibians and fish. Expect to experience nature in a new way during each pack trip on this beautiful and lively countryside.

HORSEBACK RIDING GRAND TETON

Taking a horseback riding trip in Grand Teton is a fabulous way to experience the Wyoming scenery and cover lots of ground in a short amount of time. Bridger-Teton National park contains 3.4 million acres of virgin forest, interrupted by staggering peaks, deep river gorges and broad valleys. Similar to its more well known sibling, Yellowstone National Park, Bridger-Teton is a safe haven for wildlife and is truly a breathtaking experience.

HORSEBACK RIDING IN MONTANA

Wyoming’s neighboring state, Montana, also features wide skies, jagged mountain peaks and lush forests. While Wyoming holds 96% of Yellowstone Park, 3% falls in Montana. There are 5 entrances to Yellowstone in Montana and a dizzying array of wildlife live in the state. In the forests of Montana, wild animals like Elk and wolves roam while eagles soar overhead. It is one of the wildest places in North America.
