GLAMPING

A creative vacation trend around the world is finally sweeping the United States: glamorous camping, aka “glamping.” Glamping allows adventure seekers to indulge in the joys of camping, like sleeping under the stars, cooking with a campfire, searching for and interacting with wildlife, escaping the hustle of urban and suburban life, or just enjoying a change of scenery. All this, without sacrificing indoor amenities like running water, furniture, and temperature control.

Glamping in Wyoming is a spectacular experience, as it is home to several of the most renown National Parks and monuments in the country. The state’s legendary landmarks, world-class dining and cultural experience, history, and western lifestyle offers a wealth of activities and excitement to visitors.

GLAMPING IN WYOMING

Glamping on the Greys sits on a rural site with unparalleled access to the beauty and adventure of the Wyoming and Montana wildernesses. We are roughly 1 hour and 45 minutes from Jackson Hole and an hour from Alpine, Wyoming, making Glamping on the Greys easily accessible for those flying or driving to the region. It is not too easily accessible, though! Our property is at the end of a long drive lined with thick forest. It is incredibly private, with only fellow guests and camp staff nearby. This seclusion brings unforgettable wildlife experiences, unmatched stargazing opportunities, the Grand Tetons, and the ability to enjoy camp uninterrupted by anyone outside of your group. It offers a truly authentic outdoor experience.

GLAMPING TENTS IN WYOMING

Glamping on the Greys offers the unbridled opportunity and excitement of a backcountry pack trip combined with the comforts of a warm bed and prepared meal. The wooded property features six canvas structures that perfectly balance a traditional tent and a resort hotel room. They are uniquely designed with touches of western comfort and timeless frontier styles.

Each “glampsite” offers either queen beds or twin cots in each tent, and extra cots are available. The cots are oversized, and every bed is covered with a memory foam pad, fitted and top sheets, and top bedding. Quilts handmade by local seamstresses lay on each queen bed. There are also nightstands and chairs inside the tents.

The Wyoming mountains tend to be cool in the evening, so each glamping tent is equipped with a fully functioning wood stove to warm guests. The stoves are easy to use and our team keeps chopped wood and fire starter stocked. All tents sit on an elevated platform with a patio in front. Guests enjoy sitting on the patio to rest and bask in the peaceful sites and sounds of camp. People also use the porches for things like yoga and meditations.

A national forest surrounds the Glamping on the Greys property, allowing our site to bask in the beauty and serenity of the natural world. This does mean, though, that plumbing and running water are scarce. Guests shower and take care of other personal needs in a luxury outhouse that sits near the glamping tents. Our team keeps the outhouse in pristine condition – free of unwelcome critters or smells! The shower uses a propane tank to ensure that the water is heated quickly and efficiently, which is a refreshing treat after a long day adventuring in the wilderness.

While each tent offers the same basic necessities, each has a unique layout.

Guests can choose the most suitable layout based on these options:

TENT BEAR CUBS

A canvas tent with a queen bed and two twin cots. This space typically holds up to four guests.

TENT TAG-A-LONG
